Members of the Elites Swimming Club in Carletonville took part in a big open water swim event on November 2.

Several of the club’s swimmers participated in the Midmar Mile Seeding Event 1 held at Prime View Adventure and Leisure in Olifantsfontein.

Minke Rheeder took part in the 1.2km male & female age 14-30 event and completed it in a time of 25:08. Carla Louw completed the swim in a time of 28:29.

Carla Louw also completed the 1.2km male 13/under and 31/over event in a time of 27:03. Minke Rheeder took part in the 600m fun swim, which she completed in a time of 12:06.
