Masked men rob mother and daughter in central Carletonville

The robbers forced the daughter into the house, where they stole cellphones, clothes, and food before fleeing the scene.

A mother and daughter from Nickel Street in the central part of Carletonville had a harrowing experience this week.

This crime took place at approximately 00:15 on Sunday, November 2.

A woman (43) and her daughter were busy closing their gate when two masked men stormed up to them.

The thugs, who were armed with a firearm and a crowbar, told the mother and daughter to keep quiet.

One of the criminals watched the mother outside while the other forced the daughter to go with him into the house.

They returned after some time with cellphones, clothes, and food that were taken from inside the house.
