Armed robbers target Pep in Fochville

The perpetrators are still on the loose.

Business robbers struck a chain store in Fochville this week.

Staff of the Pep in Park Street were busy with routine tasks on Sunday when seven unknown men walked in just after 09:30. They spoke English and isiZulu and three of them were armed.

The thugs, one of whom wore a balaclava, threatened the staff and customers and took money from the safe and cash registers.

They then ran away.

Luckily no-one was injured.

The police in Fochville are investigating a business robbery case. Anyone who might have any information that can lead to the arrest of the perpetrators can call the crime stop line at 08600 10111.

Information can also be communicated via the MySAPS App or by using the SMS number 32211. Residents giving information may remain anonymous.
