Armed robbers strike Carletonville pub

Luckily no one was injured.

A group of business robbers struck in the Carletonville CBD again last week.

The latest incident took place on December 1.

Customers and staff were inside Marcellos pub on Emerald Street when four men walked in at approximately 20:30.

All four were armed and three wore balaclavas.

The suspects, who spoke Sesotho, instructed everyone inside the pub to lie down. They grabbed money and liquor before fleeing the scene.
