Grade 10 learner from Carleton Jones High School in Carletonville is proving that excellence in Mathematics knows no bounds. Oreneile Tlhapi has made a name for herself in Maths circles after excelling in multiple competitions throughout the year — earning a well-deserved spot among the top 100 Mathematics learners on the African continent.

Her outstanding performance has now earned her an invitation to the prestigious Wits Maths Competition in Africa, set to take place on September 10, where she will proudly represent her school and community.

Oreneile’s rise in the academic arena has been nurtured by her dedicated Maths teacher, Refilwe Tsoaeli, who expressed immense pride in her learner’s achievements.
