A 48-year-old resident of Khutsong Ext 5 had a harrowing experience in the early hours of October3.

The woman, who lives in the 60s section of the area, was asleep in her home when she was abruptly awakened around 01:50 by the sound of a window breaking.

Moments later, a group of intruders forced their way in and kicked open her bedroom door.

One of the criminals, who spoke Sesotho, wielded a pistol, while another also carried a firearm.

The suspects demanded money before making off with a cellphone and some meat.

The robbers fled the scene on foot. Police are investigating a case of house robbery.
