The resident (29), who stays in Reinecke Street near Boundary Street, was asleep with her boyfriend in a back room at approximately 01:00 on November 5.

They were suddenly woken up by a loud noise. The next thing they knew, two unknown men stormed into her room after they had kicked down the door.

The thugs, who spoke isiZulu, pointed firearms at the couple and demanded money and cellphones.

They then searched the room and grabbed three cellphones, groceries, clothes, and money.

The thugs then stormed out of the room.
