Armed robbers terrorise two friends during late-night home invasion in Carletonville

Police are investigating a case of house robbery.

Two friends from Carletonville had a scary experience this weekend.The crime took place in the early morning hours of November 9.A 59-year-old man and his friend were watching television in their home on Carleton Jones Drive at approximately 01:45.

Suddenly, two masked men stormed through their kitchen door, which was unlocked. The thugs, who spoke broken isiZulu, pointed firearms at them and told them to lie down.

They demanded cellphones, money, and tied the men up.

The thugs then grabbed six cellphones and a television set and sped off in an unknown vehicle.

The police in Carletonville are investigating a house robbery case following the incident.
