Carletonville’s Mpumelelo ‘Zulu’ Mngoma in flyweight MMA showdown

Carletonville’s only professional MMA fighter will enter the ring on October 10.
Mpumelelo Mngoma (30), affectionately known as ‘Zulu’ by his fellow team members at the Fight St MMA Club in Carletonville, will take on Tyral James Louw in a Flyweight match.
Louw is a professional MMA fighter from Johannesburg.
The match is part of an ECF Africa Fight Night and will be broadcast on the EFC 118 channel.
Mngoma, who weighs in at 56.7kg, is ranked 31st while Louw, who weighs in at 55kg, is ranked 34th in the division.
Mngoma is trained by Chimmy van Winkel, a former professional kickboxer who was ranked as the best in the country during the height of his career.
