Masked robbers struck a home in Khutsong Extension 5 on Monday, 29 April.

A resident and his girlfriend were at home when they heard a knock on the door at about 20:00. The man went to investigate, and two robbers, both wearing balaclavas, burst in.

The thugs, who spoke Sotho, hit the man over the head with a firearm, demanding money and cell phones.

The criminals also grabbed a laptop and ran away.
