Man killed and two injured in Khutsong Ext 5 shooting
As far as could be determined the killers are still on the loose.

A man was brutally killed in Khutsong Ext 5 on December 6.
When three residents, both Mozambican nationals, arrived at their home in the 70s at 00:30, they were met by four Sotho-speaking men, three of whom were armed.
The robbers started shooting at the victims without warning. Community members heard the shooting and alerted others. This caused the attackers to run away.
When the police arrived at the scene, two of the victims were found with gunshot wounds to their legs. They were taken to Carletonville Hospital for treatment.
Police also found marks on the ground indicating that someone had been dragged from the scene.
Further investigation led to the discovery of a body about 20m away. The deceased had several gunshot wounds. Authorities confiscated a 9mm pistol at the scene.
According to bystanders, the victims are allegedly illegal miners.
The police are investigating murder and attempted murder cases.
