Five-year-old Angella Tshireletso Monisi will be representing the country at a beauty pageant in Bulgaria in August
2017. According to her mother, Catherine, Angella’s modelling career began when a talent scout from Labella Model modelling school spotted her on the catwalk of the FEM Festival in 2015. Angella then joined the modelling school in
Fochville and later took the title of Second Princess in the Mr and Miss Carletonville Mall contest last year. She went on to join Perfection Models in Potchefstroom after Labella Model closed down. The young model was then crowned as the third princess in the Mr and Miss Diamond SA and, later, named as the director’s choice in the Mr and Miss MooiRivier competition. Angella took fourth place in the Winter King and Queen pageant before winning the African Continent title in the Little Miss World South Africa contest. After being crowned the second princess in Teen Miss World SA, she qualified to represent SA in the 3 -5yrs category in Bulgaria on 15 August. ‘I am over the moon. I am so blessed to have such an amazing, intelligent child,’ said her mother. ‘I feel very happy to go overseas and I am going to win,’ said the young model confidently. Catherine is appealing to the Merafong community to assist her in
her fundraising efforts. Please contact her at 073 983 9949.
