Mayor delivered State of the City Address on Thursday

The mayor has delivered her annual State of the City Address last Thursday, 12 May. As in the past, the event took place in the Carletonville Civic Centre. Members of the public had to chance to once again be able to watch the procession of councillors as they move through the town’s streets from the municipal offices in Uralite Street to the Civic Centre. During the State of the City Address the executive mayor, Ms Maphefo Mogale-Letsie, gives an overview of the work done by the municipality during the past year while highlighting the projects the municipality has earmarked to take place during the coming year. The address itself started at 10:00 and was open to invited guests. The procession to the SOC address was usually viewed by many members of the public.
