Family receive Helping Hand trophy
Sue Lubbe and Friends recently awarded their floating Helping Hand trophy to advocate Bava, his son Zia Bava and their family for all the good work they do in the community.
JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Sue said, “I met the family in 1981 when I was an area manager for Win Corporation and the family had a jewellery store in the Rosettenville area. Calling on the jewellers and becoming friendly with the family I realised just how passionate this family was about making a difference to the needy in South Africa.
“We salute this family for making sure we can do the work that is so needed to be done in the South and other areas and we challenge all other Southerners and companies to get involved. Together we can change the terrible poverty that South Africans are facing.”
Sue Lubbe and Friends would also like to thank every person, every group and every charity who network with them and salute them all for the wonderful work they do.
“A special thank you to this young man, Zia Bava, who will go far with the help of his parents, caring and sharing with those in need. The Bava family are indeed worthy of this award. Zia attends Marist Brothers and this is certainly one of their learners they can be so proud of,” added Sue.
