The Forest Hill murder case was postponed to August 16 at Booysens Magistrate’s Court on July 21.
This time the defence said they don’t have the copy of the charge sheet and one witness statement is still outstanding. Murder accused Kleave van Staden briefly appeared on the stand.
The magistrate postponed the matter citing that the disclosure is premature. He said to van Staden, “You are remanded in custody until August 16 for the State to provide further disclosure to prepare for the case”.
Van Staden is accused of murdering his wife, Jamillah, on January 8 in Forest Hill.
