Booysens SAPS, along with other law enforcement agencies, security companies and community members, arrested 58 suspects from May 8 to 14.
The arrests include two for assault common under domestic violence, two for assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm, two for business robbery, one for common assault, two for common robbery, 21 for drunken driving, one for failing to display licence plate, 17 undocumented persons, one for pointing a firearm in a municipal area, five drug-related crimes, one for possession of stolen property and two for shoplifting.
Brigadier HA Jones, Booysens SAPS station commander along with his management, want to thank everyone involved with the arrests.
“Together we can beat the influx of crime in the area,” he said.
