Miss Turffontein pageant shines once again
The event captivated the audience with breathtaking gowns and incredible young talent.
The third annual Miss Turffontein beauty pageant captivated the crowd with a spectacular display of young talent.
As the event has grown in scale and prestige, last year’s competition proved to be a resounding success.
Melov Nkele Munya (18) was crowned Miss Turffontein 2024 while Elizabeth Gumede (18) won the title of Miss Turffontein first princess and Khensane Ntlemo (20) Miss Turffontein second princess.
The category winners are:
Miss Turffontein Tiny Elizabeth Mkwanazi (7), Miss Turffontein Tiny first princess Belia Bebel (5) and Miss Turffontein Tiny second princess Roisa Mukendi (4).
In the pre-teen category, Alinda Ngwenya (11) took the title of Miss Turffontein Pre-teen. Sifundo Mchunu (12) was Miss Turffontein Pre-teen first princess and Abigail Khanyi Miss Turffontein Pre-teen second princess.
Special awards went to Noluthando Moyo (9) as Miss Turffontein personality and Alinda Ngwenya for Miss Turffontein public choice.
The Miss Turffontein team thanked their sponsors, participants, parents and supporters who made the event a success.
“A special thank you goes to our organisers Louange Ngoyi, Lukholo Nqogana, Sandra Zezere, Siphokuhle Qayiso and Siyalungelwa Ntombela for their hard work and commitment to making this event extraordinary,” said a Miss Turffontein representative.
“The pageant celebrated beauty and highlighted the strength and determination of the young girls who participated.”
