Mall of the South treats Home of Hope for Girls to unforgettable shopping experience

Mall of the South partners with Home of Hope for Girls and SOJO Helping Hands Foundation for a heartwarming 'Shop My Closet' event.

Mall of the South recently hosted a ‘Shop My Closet’ event on January 2, in partnership with Home of Hope for Girls and the SOJO Helping Hands Foundation.

The initiative aimed to create a memorable day for the girls from Home of Hope for Girls by offering them a unique shopping experience.

A vacant shop was transformed into a vibrant space, filled with previously loved clothing and shoes donated by the Mall of the South community. Each participant eagerly selected outfits, thrilled to find clothing suitable for upcoming school presentations and even their first year at university.

In addition to clothing, Mall of the South donated care packs to the girls, further enhancing the event’s impact. The initiative was made possible by the kind-hearted contributions from the local community, with every item collected being donated directly to Home of Hope for Girls.

The collaboration with SOJO Helping Hands Foundation reflects Mall of the South’s ongoing commitment to community upliftment and social responsibility.

The soon-to-open SOJO Charity Shop will continue to play a pivotal role in aiding those in need, with proceeds supporting various charitable initiatives.
