Senior residents enjoy hearty meal from Baboo’s Crew

Baboo’s Crew was up bright and early on June 25, preparing two dhegs of hearty soup served with fresh bread and soya to bring warmth and comfort to the residents of Annie Burger and Xavier old age homes.

Uncle Baboo said the joy on the residents’ faces made every moment worthwhile.

“A huge thank you to our generous sponsors for donating the bread and vegetables, and an extra special shukran to the amazing team who braved the cold morning to help make it all possible. “Together, we shared more than just a meal. We shared love, dignity and kindness,” he said.
