Krooked Kings MC hosts Service Dogs Charity Day to support 3 animal welfare causes

A day of community spirit, entertainment and purpose will bring people together in support of therapy dogs and wildlife protection initiatives.

Residents are invited to attend the Service Dogs Charity Day Jol, set to take place on June 6 at the Alberton Tennis Club from 10:00 to 17:00.

The event is hosted by Krooked Kings MC, with members from the West Rand, East Rand and Hillbrow chapters coming together to support three impactful service dog organisations.

The initiative aims to raise awareness and support for Paws 4 U, TOP Dogs and Task Force Rhino, each of which uses trained dogs to make a difference in communities. Paws 4 U focuses on therapy dogs that provide emotional support, while TOP Dogs assists vulnerable children through its involvement in the Teddy Bear Clinic.

Task Force Rhino plays a critical role in wildlife protection, using canine units in anti-poaching efforts.

Organisers say the event is a rare opportunity to support multiple service dog initiatives in one setting, while also bringing the community together for a meaningful cause.

The day promises a family-friendly atmosphere, with activities and engagement aimed at creating awareness and encouraging public support for the organisations involved.

Community members are encouraged to attend and show their support for the work these service dog charities continue to do.
