Rakesh Yankaran brings Centre Court alive with hit-filled performance

The Grand International Chutney SOCA Spectacular delivered a night of nonstop entertainment as fans sang along to classics performed by Rakesh Yankaran and fellow international artists.

Legendary Trinidadian singer Rakesh Yankaran had fans on their feet, singing and dancing along during his performance at Emperors Palace’s Centre Court.

He performed some of his greatest hit songs like Dadiyya Moday Lay Lay, Mousie, Dulahin Chale Sasural and Naroro Ray at The Grand International Chutney SOCA Spectacular.

Among the stars who performed on the night was Surinamese/Dutch star Sandesh Sewdien.

Some local residents from Alberton and Johannesburg south were among the hundreds of music lovers who had loads of fun singing and dancing along.

Music fans were treated to a mind-blowing night of uninterrupted energy and spectacular performances by a top line-up of international artists.
