LUMU expands support for children, youth and families

Charity calls for donors and volunteers to join the next generations mission.

The LUMU Community Based Organisation is continuing its work as a charity dedicated to helping children, young people, and families through a wide range of community projects in Joburg south.

Operating under the slogan ‘Supporting The Next Generation,’ the organisation runs initiatives focused on education, welfare and inclusion.

LUMU’s current projects include teaching children, feeding programmes, talent development, and the provision of girls’ sanitary pads and clothing for kids.

The organisation also offers shelter for children, supports adoption processes and provides care for kids living with disabilities and those living with forms of cancer.

Additional efforts include ensuring access to water for all children in areas like Rosettenville and La Rochelle.

The organisation invites the public to get involved by becoming donors or volunteers.

Those interested in making a contribution can contact 011 436 9474 or 073 444 1337.

Further information is available on LUMU’s website.
