LOCAL Kibler Park resident Charles Peternell competed in the X-Dirt race on Sunday March 2 and held his own.
After getting down and dirty in Sunday morning’s X-Dirt Triathlon and Duathlon Challenge at Roodeplaat Dam, the local multi-sport enthusiast competed in the off-road triathlon division of the event and finished in a time of 1:37:20.
He will be aiming to improve on this time if he competes in the remaining two races in the X-Dirt Challenge, taking place at Buffelspoort Dam on Sunday March 30 and Heron Banks Golf and River Estate, Vanderbijlpark on Sunday April 6. To participate in either of these events visit www.xdirt.co.za
