YES folks it’s that time of the year again as the annual year-end Rockmania Showdown takes place at the renowned Rock Raceway venue in Brakpan on December 9.
This year’s Rockmania will be spectacular as the first round of the USA vs South Africa Super Midget tour kicks off at The Rock Raceway. Three top USA drivers Brian Tyler, Bill Tyler and Bill Rose will take on SA top local drivers in the SA Super Midget tour.
In true Rockmania fashion, the event will be action packed with a full complement of other oval track disciplines that will include Ninja Midgets, 125 Shifter Karts,1600 Stock Rods, 1660 Modified Saloons, 2L Hotrods, Super Saloons, Standard Midgets and V8 Sprint Cars.
The Formula N Circuit cars will also be trackside with all the high-speed antics of the saloon brigade.
Drift Fans will also be delighted as drifters will create clouds of tyre smoke to the delight of the diehard petrolheads.
Come support your favourite racing driver and/or drifter club in the full programmed event.
Gates will open at 10am with practice sessions throughout the day with racing starting proper at 3pm. Spectator entry adults R100 and children R40 ages six to twelve years. Plenty of refreshments will be on sale. Bring all your friends, families and adrenaline junkies with to relish in the high octane antics of the oval brigade.
