Bubbly Run brings a fun community evening to Glenvista Country Club

Residents of Alberton and Joburg South are invited to lace up their running shoes for a relaxed 5km Bubbly Run taking place at Glenvista Country Club on March 19.

Residents of Alberton and surrounding Johannesburg south communities are invited to take part in a brand-new social event aimed at bringing people together in a relaxed and festive outdoor setting.

The Bubbly Run will take place at the Glenvista Country Club on March 19, promising an evening filled with movement, laughter and good company.

Organisers say the event is not a competitive race but rather a light-hearted 5km social run or walk where participants can enjoy the outdoors while connecting with friends, family members and colleagues.

The event encourages community members of all fitness levels to take part and enjoy the scenic setting of Glenvista. According to organisers, entry includes several fun elements designed to make the experience enjoyable for everyone.

Participants can look forward to:

• Three bubbly stops along the 5km route, with one drink per stop.

• A celebratory glass of bubbly at the finish line.

• A commemorative Bubbly Run finisher medal.

• A relaxed, social atmosphere focused on fun rather than competition.

The event has been described as “not a race – just a vibe”, encouraging participants to take their time and enjoy the experience.
