Successful recruitment drive in Naturena

The aim of the event was to recruit more youth in the area.

Naturena Crime Forum and its CPF had a recruitment drive at Malta Park on October 17.

The aim of the event was to recruit more youth in the area. Quite a number of locals have joined the CPF.
Nceba Ndube, CPF Naturena Crime Forum deputy chairperson, said they have a wish list and any capable individual or business who is will to assist is welcome to contact them.

“Some of the most essentials that we need are quad bikes, bullet proof vests and a drone among others.

“Members have received name tags donated by a local small business belonging to my company, Aluminstall Plus, and branded caps and face masks that were donated by William Mathabe, the commander of Tactical Response Team (TRT).

“We encourage every member of the community to do something big or small for the Naturena Crime Forum as they are not funded by any entity but rely on handouts from individuals.

“Aluminstall Plus has in the past made a pledge to donate five per cent of its monthly income to any community programmes and they have been doing what they have promised almost every month for as long as there’s a need,” he said.

For any contributions and donation contact Nceba on 072 900 0642.
