The 9th of August 2016 sees the debut of what promises to be one of South Africa’s most popular daytime cross-over festivals.
Emmarentia Live will bring together a host of iconic South African music acts for this one-day music experience at the picturesque Emmarentia Dam. This unique Joburg festival is open to South Africans from all walks of life and all ages, to come and relax in the sun and celebrate National Women’s Day.
The all-South African line-up has been confirmed and includes none other than:
- Mango Groove
- Gangs of Ballet
- Mi Casa
- Freshlyground
- GoodLuck
- Bad Peter
These incredible live acts will play to an audience of all ages to enjoy a wonderful party in the park. Expect a day of sunshine, wine stalls, craft food stalls, a beer garden and an awesome vibe for all ages – what better way to spend a public holiday!
The concert kicks off at 10h00 and runs until 16h00, providing six hours of the best in music and picnic vibes in one of Johannesburg’s most beautiful green spaces.
Ticket prices are:
- Adult: R299
- Children (6-12): R50
- Kids under 6 get free entrance
- Gate on the day: R349 (if available)
