Local models outshine the competition
Several young models from Bela-Bela made the competition take note of their flair on the runway at the Talent Africa Event on Saturday, 10 August in eMalahleni (Witbank), in Mpumalanga.

This prestigious event showcased the expertise of the models on the runway. No less than seven of the Bela-Bela models outshone their competitors and obtained Limpopo Provincial Colours for modelling.
Amore van der Merwe won a high gold accolade for her performance in the casual wear category. Her fellow learners from Hoërskool Warmbad who excelled were Anke Richter, who won high gold in the high fashion category and Chenell Maidment, who achieved gold in high fashion modelling.
On the junior front, Grizelde van der Merwe won high silver in the high fashion modelling category. At the same time, two other learners also from Laerskool Warmbad, Kelly-Ann Luckhoff and
Minè Oberholster won high gold and gold respectively in the high fashion modelling category.
These models will now represent Limpopo at the 2024 Nationals Event hosted on 19 and 20 September at the Barnyard Theatre in Vereeniging, Gauteng.
