Helen Zille campaigns in Thabazimbi

DA Federal Council chairperson, Helen Zille, visited Thabazimbi on Thursday 14 and Friday 15 November to engage with different stakeholders and communities.

She was accompanied by the party’s Limpopo provincial leader, Jacques Smalle, political head for Thabazimbi, Desiree van der Walt, councillors and activists.

Smalle told The BEAT on Tuesday 19 November that the visit was just a normal campaign held ahead of the by-elections, scheduled to be held in the area on Wednesday 27 November.

Zille delivered a message of hope and paved the way forward regarding the vision and new plans of the party.

The events kicked off with a public meeting on Thursday 14 November at Café Meraki, Heuwelkruin, followed by a breakfast meeting on the morning of Friday 15 November at the same venue.
