Six Waterberg players aiming high
A total of six players from across the Waterberg have been selected to form part of the Limpopo under-21 team to compete in the forthcoming inter-provincial SAB under-21 national championships.

A total of six players from across the Waterberg have been selected to form part of the Limpopo under-21 team to compete in the forthcoming inter-provincial SAB under-21 national championships.
The team was selected on Sunday 1 July at Bela-Bela High School Stadium.

The players are namely Lehlogonolo Shibambo of Modimolle Junior Stars FC, was selected for the position of central midfielder, while Segagapeng FC’s Mpho Kekana was chosen as a goalkeeper.
Central defender David Nyamane hails all the way from Mosesetjane United FC, while striker Robert Mkhumane is also from the village of Mosesetjane.
Striker Jan Baloyi from Modimolle Peacemakers FC and left back Lesego Moropa from Modimolle Junior Stars FC, also made the cut.
The six players are part of the 18 players selected to represent Limpopo at the under-21 SAB championships in the KZN capital of Durban in July.
Ronald Mdaka, the technical team organiser, said this was another initiative by the SAB and SAFA to source young talent.
He said this year Limpopo is looking forward to play good compared to the past years whereby the province was eliminated in the group stages.
The team will be assembling for camp on a date to be confirmed before the journey to the coastal city of Durban.
