Waterberg SAB Regional League’s Swagger FC wins Mayor’s Cup

The much-awaited Bela-Bela Mayor’s Cup has been scooped by Bela-Bela Swagger FC last Sunday 3 February.

The competition was contested by Swagger FC, Sporting FC and Platinum D FC.

The first match was between Platinum D FC and Swagger FC, who played to a 0-all draw.

Then later in the day Swagger FC narrowly beat Sporting FC 2-1.

At the end of the day Swagger FC collected the highest points and were crowned champions.

The champions were awarded a roving trophy and medals, while Sporting FC and Platinum D FC were awarded medals for their efforts.

Mayor Jeremiah Ngobeni said the private sector would be engaged to beef up the overall sponsorship.
