Mouth-watering derby for Mookgophong

Soccer lovers in Mookgophong will be treated to a mouth-watering league fixture on Saturday, 15 February, when Junior Stars FC takes on local rivals Barcelona FC at Mookgophong Grounds.

Both teams are hungry for some action as they both did not play last weekend, for dissimilar reasons.

Barcelona FC had their home match against Bela-Bela Swagger FC postponed due to rain, while Junior Stars FC arrived at the Ephraim Mogale Stadium only to find the hosts Modimolle Multinature FC absent.

Junior Stars FC is currently sitting on position three, while Barcelona FC occupies the fourth spot on the log standings.

According to the rules, Multinature FC would be summoned before the disciplinary committee after failing to honour three consecutive matches.

The Modimolle team was scheduled to travel to Rapotokwane for a league encounter with log leaders Qualitho FC on Saturday, while Bela-Bela Swagger FC will be visiting homeboys Diesel N Dust FC on Sunday.

Following a 3-1 bashing of Bela-Bela Soccer Academy FC, Terrors FC will on Saturday hosts Volcano FC from Vaalwater.

Volcano FC shared the spoils with Modimolle Celtic FC, after playing 1-all last weekend.

Modimolle Celtic FC will this weekend host Boys 2 Men FC, while Troublemakers FC travels to Bela-Bela Soccer Academy FC.
