Ingredients
- 200g / ± 1.5 cups mixed berries, frozen (raspberries, strawberries, and blueberries)
- 1 large banana, sliced and frozen
- 50ml oat milk, or milk of choice
- 1 Tbsp cashew nut butter, or nut butter of choice
- 1 tsp Goldcrest Lavender & Chamomile Infused Honey
Toppings:
- Chopped nuts
- Mixed seeds
- Fresh berries, sliced
- Goldcrest Lavender & Chamomile Infused Honey
Method
- Place frozen berries, frozen banana, oat milk and nut butter into a high-powered blender.
- Drizzle in the Goldcrest Lavender & Chamomile Infused Honey.
- Blend until smooth. (If you do not have a very high-powered blender add more liquid if necessary to blend but try keep it to a minimum so the smoothie remains nice and thick)
- Pour smoothie into a shallow bowl.
- Add desired toppings.
- You can have fun with this, mix it up often and add great texture to your smoothie base.
- For ease, store-bought muesli or granola adds a nice crunch.
- Keep fruit toppings seasonal for the best flavour.
- Chia seeds are an excellent healthy addition.
- Toasted coconut shavings are delicious and a swirl of nut butter adds some extra luxury.
- Drizzle toppings with a little extra Goldcrest Lavender & Chamomile Infused Honey.
- Serve and enjoy!
