Pulane shares texts from soccer player ex to prove she was abused

Citizen Reporter

After being in an abusive relationship for more than two years, Pulane Lenkoe recently took to Instagram to share images of her bruised face.

After telling her story of being abused by an ex-boyfriend, Pulane received support from her many followers on social media.

However, she also received comments questioning her side of the story, with some accusing her of lying. Pulane also took to social media to share that she was in a very healthy relationship and she was happy with her new boyfriend, whom she had previously dated and who wanted to marry her.

Pulane has now decided to address people she says make it difficult for other women to come out and tell their stories of abuse. She shared texts from her ex-boyfriend, Katlego Mphela, a soccer player who is currently without a team.

Alongside the texts, she wrote: “I mean don’t get me wrong, we do have some of these ‘trash men’ who are also culprits, but there are also ‘trash women’ out here, when I decided to share what happened to me few months ago, as per the dates on those texts, 1: I had and still have a need to reach out to women who go through what I went through for the past 2 years and half of my life. 2:I had a need to finally free myself from this man who constantly abused me and manipulated to come back in his life, this was my way of getting closure.”

“I’m grateful that I managed to achieve both what i needed, cause most women and some men reached out, to say ‘ thank you for this’ cause they either went though it themselves or know someone who did and some lost their loved ones, which made me even more grateful for my life.

“What is sad is that we have these ‘trash women’ and ‘trash men’ who have been waiting for something bad to happen in your life to come out and say hurtful things using someone’s pain as a platform to hate.”

So i have a need to address this issue…..women who make it difficult for other women who are in the same position as i was few months ago, i mean don’t get me wrong, we do have some of these “trash men” who are also culprits, but there are also “trash women” out here, when I decided to share what happened to me few months ago, as per the dates on those texts, 1: I HAD(still have) A NEED TO REACH OUT TO WOMEN WHO GO THROUGH WHAT I WENT THROUGH FOR THE PAST 2 years and half of my life. 2: I HAD A NEED TO FINALLY FREE MYSELF FROM THIS MAN WHO CONSTANTLY ABUSED ME AND MANIPULATED ME TO COME BACK IN HIS LIFE, THIS WAS MY WAY OF GETTING CLOSURE. I’m grateful that I managed to achieve both what i needed, cause most women and some men reached out, to say “ thank you for this” cause they either went though it themselves or know someone who did and some lost their loved ones, which made me even more grateful for my life. What is sad is that we have these “trash women” and “trash men” who have been waiting for something bad to happen in your life to come out as say hurtful things using someone’s pain as a platform to hate, worse thing is having WOMEN saying you are lying, women who they themselves might end up going through this one day, or someone they know, or there might be someone in their family, who’s more scared to reach out and seek help because they are scared of being judged, sad thing is that some of these women are grown women who are turning someone’s pain into a joke, just because of jealousy, you guys need to pray for your hearts, to me you are no different to these abusers and killers, a grown woman like myself has no business accusing a man i spent almost 3 years of my life with just to get with other men, this is a serious and a very sensitive issue for most of us, stop using other people’s pain to achieve your personal issues with people who don’t even know you exist, it’s sad. As for me, I’m gonna continue enjoying the man who’s always had love for me, and very deserving of me👑we’ve actually dated☺️before (but the timing was not right)my man not someone else’s and mine alone😝and I’m not apologetic about my happiness, it’s my time❤️
