Police are appealing for the public’s assistance in locating a 56-year-old man who was reported missing.

According to police reports, the man was last seen on October 12 at a construction site on Albert Street in Heidelberg.

He reportedly left the site driving a white Mahindra double-cab bakkie with registration number LC 18 XG GP.

The complainant told police that the vehicle belongs to his father-in-law and is fitted with a tracking device, although it is not insured.

The missing man allegedly told his colleagues that he was going to Pretoria for a meeting, but he never arrived there. Attempts to contact him on his cellphone have been unsuccessful.

Police urge anyone who may have information about his whereabouts to contact Detective Warrant Officer Mokoena on 071 676 1114, or Heidelberg SAPS, or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
