The resort, responding to enquiries regarding potential insurance claims and possible civil action linked to the upstream farm where a dam wall reportedly collapsed and caused the flash flooding, said:
“Any insurance-related processes and assessments are being managed internally as part of standard operating procedure. Similarly, any considerations relating to the upstream incident remain under review. We are not in a position to comment further at this stage.”
