Sassa notice on social grant payments as of April
The South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) wishes to inform all social grant beneficiaries about the payment cycle as from April 2018.
Social grant payments from April will commence on the first of each month, whether or not the 1st falls on a weekend or public holiday.
The bank payments and Sassa card payments (electronic payments) which are accessed through ATMs and merchants will be made on April 1. Payments at Sassa pay points will start on April 3.
All their systems are ready. Beneficiaries are assured that they will receive their social grants without disruptions come April 1.
