Katlehong SAPS continued with their crime-prevention methods, holding a stop-and-search operation in their precinct on Thursday.
The operation was carried out by officers from the Katlehong SAPS Crime Prevention Unit.

Eight suspects were arrested during the operation.
The accused were charged with various offences.
Charges included armed robbery, possession of house break-in implements and possession of drugs (including dagga and nyaope).

All of the arrested suspects appeared in the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court, where their cases were postponed for various reasons.
