There are no new developments in the court case of Eden Park’s mother, Joanne Swartbooi, which was transferred from the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court to the Johannesburg High Court.
Her case saw another postponement because her defence attorney was not present in court.
During her previous appearance on February 24, the presiding judge stated that should her attorney not attend, Swartbooi would be provided with legal representation.
Swartbooi faces charges of murder and defeating the ends of justice after being accused of killing her boyfriend, Timothy Jacobs, with a baseball bat and burning his body.
She remains in custody and will appear in the Johannesburg High Court on March 6.
