Commemorating Global Recycling Day
The residents of Ward 57 at Eden Park began the day by cleaning around the public swimming pool and nearby areas.
These photographs were captured at the Ext Two public swimming pool in Eden Park during the celebration of Global Recycling Day and the launch of the Packa-Ching initiative by K1 Recycling and sponsors Fibre Circle and Polyco, on March 18.
It is a day intended to raise awareness of and celebrate the critical role that recycling plays in safeguarding fundamental resources.
Global Recycling Day aims to inspire individuals to take action to repair and restore the world’s resources by cleaning and maintaining the environment.
