Elders’ fun walk in photographs
Kathorus Senior citizens took to the streets to walk against gender-based violence and elderly abuse around Katlehong.
Ponelopele Health Club (PHC) hosted its first elders’ fun walk against gender-based violence and elderly abuse awareness campaign at Motsamai Clinic AA Group, Katlehong, on April 16.
The event was organised in partnership with the Gauteng Department of Sports, Arts, Culture and Recreation, CPF and SAPS.
Various health and fitness clubs around Kathorus participated in the event including Red House, Shepherd Haven, Thuthukani Fitness and PHC members.
These photographs were captured during the walk held between 06:30 and 12:30.
