Tree of Rest organisation needs support
"We also need stoves and ovens so that we can teach people to bake and cook with the aim fighting poverty,"

The non-profit organisation Tree of Rest, based in Katlehong, needs support.
The organisation offers various support systems to people of Katlehong and surrounding areas.
According to Nompumelelo Mbambo, the founder of the organisation, they are still continuing with their war against poverty in their community.
“As part of our vision, we want to help young girls with sanitary towels because one in 50 girls cannot go to school when they are menstruating.
“We also give orphaned, abandoned and vulnerable children food parcels and sanitary towels,” said Mbambo.
Mbambo went on to ask for donations from companies or local churches or any individuals who can afford to offer them something.
“The kind of donation we are actually looking for is food parcels such as mealie meal, rice, tinned goods and sanitary pads.
“We also need stoves and ovens so that we can teach people to bake and cook with the aim fighting poverty,” she said.
Mbambo said anyone who would like to make donations, can phone her on 079 795 9594 or e-mail mpumzasaziwa@gmail.com
“Any help will go a long way.”
