Beware of sex ladies
The Tembisa SAPS issued a warning to residents about women robbing people of their cash and property.
It is believed the women frequent taverns and pubs, targeting patrons who try to befriend them.
According to the Tembisa SAPS Cluster’s communications director, Captain Manyadza Ralidzhivha, several cases of robberies have been opened against the women.
It is believed the women go to taverns and pretend to be Samaritans, who pity those looking for love and quick romance.
They are always ready to accept any man who proposes love to them and they also take the initiative of asking the men to leave with them. The woman will then return to the man’s house.
While travelling to the man’s home, the woman will ask the man to stop and buy condoms.
Once arriving at the man’s house, the woman will undress to tease the man.
“With the wink of an eye, the woman will lace a drinks with drugs. When the victim passes out, they rob the man of cash and possessions. Sometimes they also take the victim’s car,” said Capt Ralidzhivha.
Capt Ralidzhivha is calling on all patrons to take care of themselves and to avoid such ladies.
“Residents with information can contact their nearest police station,” he said.
