Residents invited to comment on the draft Child Care Centre Policy

Kempton Park residents can visit the fifth floor of the main building at the Kempton Park Civic Centre, corner of CR Swart Drive and Pretoria Road.

Between May 6 and June 6, the CoE invites stakeholders to provide feedback on the draft Child Care Centre Policy 2024.

By using established norms and standards, this policy seeks to improve the correct establishment of childcare centres in Ekurhuleni, assure compliance with safety and health regulations, and regulate and control the activities of these centres.

Additionally, the policy will examine how to make the application process better.

During business hours, an electronic copy of this draft policy is available at the city’s designated Customer Care Centers (CCC) and www.ekurhuleni.gov.za

People can comment on the city’s website or the area manager for city planning’s office during office hours.
