Norkem Park SAPS has issued a warning to residents following an increase in burglary cases reported within the precinct, with Van Riebeeck Park identified as one of the most affected areas.

Community members are encouraged to report suspicious individuals, unlawfully occupied abandoned properties and any criminal activity to the police immediately.
Residents are further encouraged to work closely with Norkem Park SAPS and the CPF through street patrols, neighbourhood watches and private security initiatives.
Police also advised residents to secure their properties, avoid leaving valuables in plain sight and report any suspicious movements in their neighbourhoods.
Authorities believe stronger cooperation between residents and law enforcement can help reduce crime levels and create a safer environment for the community.
