Babies galore this past festive season
A baby girl born in Noordheuwel on Christmas Day was one of 773 babies born in born in academic, tertiary, regional and district hospitals as well as community healthcare centres across Gauteng this past festive season.
The festive season is a time for family and only made better when that family grows.
Over the 2021 festive season a total of 773 babies were born in academic, tertiary, regional and district hospitals as well as community healthcare centres across Gauteng.
One of them is the very cute baby girl Lehakwe Motladile. Mom, Palesa Motladile gave birth to little Lehakwe in the Birth Divine Birthing Unit in Noordheuwel on December 25 at 20:48.

Another seven babies were born in the Netcare Krugersdorp Hospital.
According to the Gauteng Department of Health, 403 babies were born in the province on Christmas Day:
