Both wild lions recaptured, after escaping in Georges Valley area

The second lion which escaped from a trailer on Sunday afternoon has been recaptured.

According to reports on social media the lion was tracked and darted at around 02:00 this morning (Monday).

Initial Police report:

Letaba Herald reported on Facebook of the two lions that escaped on Sunday November 26.

Letaba Herald is still investigating as to from where the lions are from and the destination they were transported to.
