Gourmet kotas to your doorstep
Not being able to further his studies after Gr 12 did not deter Tshepo Zitha from Dan village.
He took fate into his own hands and started eRussia, selling chips and kota (bunny chow) from his home. Now, six years later, he has moved from home to premises more accessible to his clients and has expanded his menu to include burgers and dagwoods.
He told the Herald that buying the best ingredients differentiates him from others in this competitive market. He also invested in top-of-the-range equipment such as a good gas stove and grill. He says he learned from a young age that you can make money by using your hands, hence he was not dejected when he could not further his studies as he had a plan for his life.
