Little beauty sets her sights on global stage

Young Adonai Swanepoel (8) has raked in a number of modelling titles on the pageant stage. Her love of glitz and glamour has culminated in her being crowned Little Miss World International Africa 2020/21.

“She loves doing charity work and to visit children with special needs as well as senior citizens. I am always proud of her. She realises that you have to work hard for what you want in life, only then will you get results. “Ronell Joubert started coaching her in 2018. She saw something special in her and said Adonai has what it takes. She was right,” said her mother, Odette Swanepoel. Adonai loves riding horses and wants to be a veterinarian or a doctor when she grows up. She will compete in the inaugural Little Miss World International pageant in Dubai. A date is yet to be set. The grand finale will be in Mumbai, India in late winter/early spring. Competition categories are as follows: interview, fun wear, denim and diamonds, evening attire and photogenic capabilities. In addition to the competition, delegates will enjoy sightseeing, a press conference, photoshoots, parties, banquets and the annual red carpet welcome gala. Adonai started modelling at 13 months. Some of her past titles are Toddler and Tween of the World Miss Elite South Africa 2019, Miss Wildlife North West, Miss Province SA 2014, Miss Worldwide Beauty 2014, Lydenburg’s Got Talent 2019, Pageant Prince and Princess SA 2015, Miss Glitter Queen 2015, Little Prince and Princess SA 2015, All-Star SA 2018 and SA Top Model 2018.
