New website to promote tourism

World class destination website.

In order to promote the Lowveld as a world-class destination, Kruger Lowveld Tourism recently launched a new world-class destination website.

The aim of the new www.krugerlowveld.com is to promote the Lowveld to both domestic and international markets. “The cornerstone of promoting a world-class destination is having a world-class destination website,” said Ms Linda Grimbeek of the Kruger Lowveld Chamber of Business and Tourism (KLCBT) of which Kruger Lowveld Tourism is a branch.

The website aims to be an exceptional travel tool for any prospective visitor. It was launched in association with Flow Communications, the company responsible for developing and managing South African Tourisms website and social media. It will serve as a one-stop shop for anything from accommodation to tours and activities.

“The development of the website,” “is another part of the integrated visitors’ services strategy,” says Ms Lisa Sheard, chairperson of Kruger Lowveld Tourism. “The strategy aims to attract tourists to the region, look after them while they are here and keep in touch with them once they have left.”
